Inhale Essential Oils - Whistle

my question may sound a bit unusual, but is meant quite seriously. I would be very grateful for answers Smile

I quite appreciate the social factor of water pipes (hookahs), bin tobacco but completely averse, I've been thinking about an alternative.

Somehow I tried simply to give some drops of essential oil into the water, to get a good taste without tobacco and I find that works perfectly.

Now my real question: How is the whole to be seen from a health perspective?
It is therefore inhaled over a period of a few hours (sometimes quite deep) "circulating air" of water with essential oils.
Nothing is heated, neither burned nor evaporated.

Given the fact that this procedure with certain means in the case of cold is considered as a health promotion and the concentration of the absorbed substances during the evaporation is probably much higher one could consider the whole for the first time completely unobjectionable.

Does one have to pay attention to the used aromatic oils on something?
On a few, there is indeed "extra" for inhaling. Are there differences between different "100% natural essential oils" (as is generally said)? Often, they are marked as "irritant" and are warned of contact with mucous membranes. The presentation of the oils on which these notes are missing often make the impression that the labeling simply not to take so seriously (which is indeed not to be).

Is there really any difference, what do you have to look out for?

Inhaling a few times in succession really deep, I feel (and this has been confirmed to me several times) a clearly noticeable, temporary "daze" and feeling of relaxation.
Is this due to the oils or perhaps really only to the multiple deep breathing? Is this dangerous in any way?

The whole sounds a bit odd, but I feel this inhaling of aromatic oils but really pleasant, but would like to clarify absolutely as the matter from a medical point of view is.
